Originally introduced in 2021, BuyYourCar.com is an automotive retail and technology service provider that operates out of Houston, TX and relies on Konect.ai and Kelly Blue Book buying tools for inventory acquisition, with KBB as their number one source for purchases. KBB-Ico Southfork Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram is the lead source vendor that in June recorded an amazing return with a 9.5% closing ratio, almost three times above the national KBB average closing rate. BYC uses Konect.ai technology to offer a large portfolio of services including increasing lead engagement, instant outreach, SMS communication, real-time pricing analytics, and more.

BuyYourCar.com wanted to utilize the Konect.ai technology to see if this consumer conversation strategy could stabilize the management of overflowing leads and inventory acquisitions for buying centers in the U.S.

THE SOLUTION

Maximizing on unengaged leads

BuyYourCar.com partnered with Konect.ai on a strategy to reinvent the car selling experience. This process was designed to immediately engage with more users that want to sell a vehicle, using clear messaging that reduces communication errors to improve lead management within KBB buying centers in the US.

For this integration, Konect.ai built a variety of fluid communication flows with smooth transitions toward scheduling for clients. Specifically, Konect.ai personalized the verbiage by using consistency, and conversation designed to efficiently set up the connection between consumers and buying centers. For example, one ai conversation features engaging cadence sharing a proposal and pricing data from the buying center’s latest campaign. This follow-up includes instant outreach that’s consistent, along with the messaging: “We want to buy your car. Because of the vehicle shortage, your car is worth more. Want to hear more?” Further conversations featured consumers chatting online and planning appointments with buying centers moments after. All conversations allowed users to schedule calls together with a dealer through the Konect.ai service via outreach like, “I have time at 4:15 and 5:30 today, which time works best?” that links to a buying center’s call rotation or CRM calendar.

A second conversation used fast, SMS acquisition outreach that follows up with consumers online browsing for buyers at the right price regarding a trade-in, with reliable copy that reads, “Hey, thanks for reaching out about selling your 2017 Wrangler to BuyYourCar.com,” complete with options like setting an appointment or opting out.

Buy Your Car used the convert conversation technology across various lead sources, including those at the forefront of purchases that Buy Your Car acquired. The team sparked conversations via SMS messages, FB messenger chats, and BuyYourCar.com.
